Research Materials

Don’t just take our word for it!

We appreciate that making the right decisions about the educational products you use with your children in and outside the classroom can often be daunting. That's why DACTA, along with their partners, aim to give you access to a variety of materials to ensure you make an informed choice.

Good Toy Guide 2005/2006

Good Toy Guide

Toys on the Good Toy Guide list are tested by at least six different families or nurseries over 3 months, after which adults are asked to complete a two-page form detailing how children have responded to the toy and what they have learnt from it. Of the five most recommended number 4 on the list is TOLO® First Friends Tractor and Farm Animals (see product codes TL009 and TL0012). The products help with the development of small movements, hand-eye co-ordination and encourage imaginative play, speaking and listening, observation and concentration.
